Friends From Texas

My friend Jen and her little boy Jackson came to MN for Brody's 1st birthday party. It was so much fun to finally meet Jackson and to see Jen as well. The weekend was too quick, we can't wait to see them again! Thanks so much for making the trek!!

BIG Birthday Bash!!

Wow, what a birthday party! We ended up with some 22 adults and 11 kids to help celebrate Brody's big 1st birthday! He was spoiled rotten with all sorts of fun toys, clothes and books!

Thanks to all of our friends and family who made Brody's 1st birthday special! Also, thanks to friends and family who sent gifts, that was so thoughtful of you!

Happy Birthday Brody!

Boy what a difference a year makes, going from that helpless newborn stage to the fun little independent boy that we have today!!

This year has been been a whirl wind but we wouldn't trade it for the world. Seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital having him and now he's a year old. We have enjoyed watching him grow and become a little boy. It's funny to see how both Jason and I's personalities are within Brody, the good, the bad and the ugly! Each day is a blessing and we cherish every moment with our little guy!

We can't imagine life without him, We love you Brody!

1st Birthday Pictures

On Saturday, a week from Brody's 1st birthday, we took him in for pictures with our most favorite photog Paula Charchenko. She has an amazing ability to capture the best expressions and Brody always has a great time with her! She sent me a sneak preview, so cute and can't wait to see the rest!

St Louis

A couple of weeks ago we took Brody to St Louis to meet the Datus' crew! Let me just tell you, that boy was SPOILED with attention. He had someone to play with from the minute he woke till the minute he went to bed. He sleep well each night after a hard day of play! It was so much fun for everyone!

Crazy Hair

The other day when i went to pick up Brody from daycare he had this wild and crazy hair do, it looked very 80's and of course because I didn't send him to school that way i was dying to know about the new hairdo. Evidently applesauce serves another purpose besides a tasty fruit...hair gel. Evidently he was playing in his applesauce and then running his fingers through his hair. Ahh yes moving into that toddler stage!

Brody and Daddy were having a really good time making Brody's hair charged with static. I love these pictures as you can see his teeth. He had a total of 5 right now and a 6 one coming any day!
